This year, my classroom is comprised of fifty-four students ranging from grades K-5. Some students come to my classroom knowing some English, and others come not knowing anything. Working with such a variety of English language learners can be challenging. My lessons revolve around groups based on each student's language level. With this requested kidney-shaped teaching table, the higher needs students will be able to feel more comfortable and stay focused while working in a small group setting. During a typical lesson, I work with students who need more language support. This table will enable my students to work in a comfortable space that fosters the educational supports that each and every student needs in order to achieve success.
