I am co-teaching 6th grade students this year. My students share two separate classrooms, I will be teaching Math and Science for approximately 50 students. I teach in a small district in rural Arizona. I am continuously looking for ways to integrate hands-on activities, project based learning and assessments as well as technology. I am taking on a new challenge this year moving from a special education classroom into a Math and Science classroom. All of my students struggle in their academic growth and my goal is to engage them in learning activities that challenge their view of what they are capable of. I want to turn the "can't do" attitude into "look what I can do"!
