These materials will help provide more hands-on opportunities for my student's to explore and create. At the young age of 5 my students love to be hands-on with their learning. I'm hoping to create more opportunities within the day to integrate their sensory needs through kinetic sand and water beads. While using tweezers and scoopers my student's will strengthen their fine motor skills, which many need because they have not hand many opportunities prior to coming to school to strengthen that ability allowing them to be ready for the rigorous learning that will soon take place.
My hope is that by having these activities available such as painting, kinetic sand, building with magna tiles, and brain flakes that not only will they be to let their creativity shine through but they will develop those critical fine motor skills that they need in order to begin writing this school year!
Being a kindergarten teacher my goal is to make their learning exciting, fun and hands on and that is what I'm looking to do with these materials I'm asking for.
