Alternative seating will improve student engagement by helping to bring comfort and a feeling of home to my classroom. My students will chose their seats weekly, and identify their best learning space. The tables and chairs will help create a warm cozy feel for my students to thrive, learn, and grow. Students will be able to work in various spaces that I will create in my room. Students will have a writing space, a reading space, a technology space. Students will be able to move around the room during different times of the day in sit in various alternative seating locations.
