My 5th Graders will use our new Chromebooks to jumpstart their reading lives by using programs such as, Storyjumper, Accelerated Reader, FunBrain, Learn Farm, Flocabulary, and IXL. They will also be able to delve into their research topics during our 2 Non-Fiction research units. Last but not least, students will be able to learn to type their projects and submit them online. As 21st century learners digital literacy is a key component in their academic growth. Soon enough all students will be taking benchmark testing and End of Grade testing online. Now is the time to equip my students with the technology they need to be successful.
