The "grab and go" boxes that are being donated will be used during our small group Math time daily. Since each one of my students learns differently, as mentioned before, I have decided to individualize instruction to meet their needs! My students will be divided into three groups. Every day, each group will meet with me, while another group is completing their work, and another group is playing Math games. The students that are playing the math games will choose from a specific color box, from the donated grab and go boxes, and play the game for the remainder of their game time. In each of the donated colored boxes will be leveled Math games. The games will range from Math topics already covered in class to topics that will be covered later in the year. For example one Math student could be playing a matching shape game, while another student is working on an addition game. Games will be changed out frequently to keep students' interest. In return, this will help students learning by keeping them engaged.
