I have a dynamic class of second graders. They are ROCK (responsible, optimistic, cooperative, kind, scholars) star students who strive to be their best everyday. They often work together in teams or small groups and sometimes they work on their own. They are developing basic learning and life skills, daily. Every morning we gather in a circle and envision our daily goals. We sing songs about respect and making new friends to encourage positivity throughout our day. Every accomplishment is a celebration. We also celebrate our mistakes. We know it takes courage to learn and we won't always be perfect. We will never give up, however, knowing we have dreams to reach and people in our community that are cheering us on.

About my class
