For the past several years Rusk Middle School has struggled with falling scores and high turnover, plummeting it from the top of the district to the bottom. I am one of many who has been brought in to help turn the school around and provide the students - majority Hispanic - with the best education DISD has to offer. The next few years will be challenging but well worth it as we all work together to change the culture of the school and give these kiddos a bright future!

About my class
