With a touch screen desktop screen, my students will be able to work independently on tasks. Technology is becoming more prominent in the world and this would gain their interest while they continue to work on functional skills. The touch screen is an adaptation that makes it possible for my kids to use a typical computer. They can sort files, play interactive educational games, and do daily calendar tasks. My students love to use the SMART Board and I would like to teach them to navigate a computer independently so that they may use it as a job skill for their near futures.
