Our school's location is in the perfect location to view over 90% of the 2017 August 21st Solar Eclipse. It starts at 10:10 am and ends by 12:50 pm Mountain Standard Time. Our cafeteria is providing a picnic lunch for all of the 550 staff and students in the school as a way of celebrating this unique event. To view the eclipse safely, everyone participating in this rare event will need solar eclipse glasses. This is a District wide STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) happening which will expose the students to a phenomenon that will not occur in this area again in their lifetime.

About my class
