This year we are focusing on closing the gap with math facts, fluency and reading. By having resources like Chromebooks and flexible seating, I can reach students who need extra one on one help. My students do not have the opportunity to use computers often, but can succeed so much more with the online learning resources available. By being able to gift them with these items it can make their work easier and more special, and push them to work hard. A little appreciation goes a long way to students and my students give so much. They deserve to have the supplies and differentiated work to allow them to be engaged and truly excited to learn. My students also have very little in their lives and are right on the poverty line. With having the option of technology they can be more successful in their future and may have more opportunities in life after school.
