Having a Breakout Edu Kit will allow my students to participate in hands-on, interactive, and engaging alternatives to traditional classroom activities like worksheets, textbooks, and lectures. Breakout EDU games transfer the ownership of learning from the instructor to the student, making it easy to observe how learners approach problem solving and apply their knowledge.  Breakout Edu was developed as a gaming experience that educators can use to engage learners of all ages. It uses locks, invisible markers/UV flashlights, timers, safes, and locked boxes, along with story lines, puzzles, and codes. The latter three tools can be developed by teachers to integrate any content. . Your generous donation of materials for the Breakout Edu kits and STEM materials will help to build necessary 21st Century Skills, will work to motivate my students in many content areas, and can be used to engage them in collaborative learning. Participating in and creating games will allow students to collaborate and think critically about the games.
