Hello there! This project was created to help promote foundational math and literacy skills in my kindergarten classroom. I teach a wide variety of learners, that includes, but is not limited to: English Second Language learners, Gifted and Talented learners, and Special Needs students who are a part of the inclusion program! The items on this list will help my students continue to gain independence, ownership of learning, social skills, and problem solving skills in my classroom. I incorporate all rotes of learning in my classroom, and these items will give my students both flexibility and freedom to use multiple routes of intelligence (i.e., problem solving, artistic skills, etc.) to continue to build their foundational skills.
