Everyday I've watched a group of curious and energetic Kindergarten students walk into the classroom ready for learning, and exploring. On any given day, my students are more than willing to showcase their skills, and abilities to the class. I teach at a school in a high poverty environment where all of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite the hardships that my students face everyday, they are creative, intelligent beings eager to learn, and demonstrate their own independence. I have the honor of looping with my Einsteins to first grade; a year full of exploration, critical thinking, and collaboration. I will continue to nurture their love for learning.
