Each year my students have enjoyed the exploration of the life cycle of a chicken. We learn about habitats and life cycles throughout the school year through our reading, writing, video clips and science exploration. Hatching chickens is a huge success here and I would like to keep it going! Having a reliable incubator is essential to this project. I have not had an automatic turner and would love to have this added portion for the unit. I, otherwise, need to come into school each weekend during this month three times per day! As we have begun planning for the next school year, these tools are at the top of my list!
