My students need these Chromebooks to enhance their learning experiences. Many of them do not have access to technology in their homes. These computers will be used to bridge that gap and prepare them for the coming school years. We will use these computers daily to complete center work and other learning activities along with testing. In education today, most of the assessments are computer based. My students are at a disadvantage in this area because they lack time and access to the technologies used. My school has a limited number of Chromebooks available, but they are always in use by other grades in our K-12 school. Having our own classroom set would allow me to give my students daily practice that they desperately need.
