My students are smart, creative and full of energy for learning! We enjoy doing group activities and bringing math to life! We often spend time taking notes which is an important part of learning, but some of my students have trouble sitting still for long periods of time and could really benefit from a wiggle stool. With the wiggle stool , they can continue to work without disrupting the students around them. They want to move their minds to increase their focus. I teach at a Title I school in Louisiana where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
