These microscopes and slides are part of the first step in creating a STEAM lab at our school. Materials will be utilized by the school, not just my classroom, allowing the entire student body to find the joy of learning through hands-on activities. STEAM benefits, include creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, increased engagement and motivation, as well as personalizing the learning experience. How STEM education improves student learning? Research showed that STEM education is effective in improving students' learning outcomes, such as academic learning achievement, student motivation, attitude, problem-solving skills (Saraç, 2018; Yildirim, 2016)
