Having these Chromebooks used in small groups in my kindergarten and first grade classroom will make learning to read more exciting and prepare them for a fantastic future. My 24 students work in small groups during reading and math. Having the access to use Chromebooks will provide the technology they need to be successful in the future.It will give them the support they need to practice the basics they need in kindergarten and first grade.It will give them the resource many do not have at home. In providing these Chromebooks I believe my students will be excited to learn to read and solve math problems. They can also use them to create their own stories. Having the opportunity to use Chromebooks in kindergarten and First grade will increase their learning and keep them engaged during their six hour school day.
