We are seeing an achievement gap in our students as a result of COVID-19. Students are coming in to our classrooms nervous and stressed because of uncertainty at home and confusion at school. My project Comfortable Classroom will allow students to let their guard down while in the classroom. They will be able to sit comfortably and I will have the tools needed to match their flexibility. The tools provided in this project will help me create a flexible classroom. Students will be able to pick a seating option that works best for them. I will have a document camera that allows me to project what we are going over to the whole class no matter where they are sitting. I will also have a mobile whiteboard that will help me teach my students where ever they feel most comfortable.
