The use of our interactive whiteboard is a daily activity but often with STEM instruction I am limited to the front of the room. I hope to increase engagement by having a mobile interactive whiteboard tool that allows other students to annotate, allows me to navigate the room and also allows me to save annotations to couple with my online Google Classroom presence. I currently have issues with my smart board markers working inconsistently, which limits me to a small whiteboard to work out mathematical equations in Chemistry and Physics and I can’t save the work I write down as easily for students who are absent. I would eventually like to try to create a flipped classroom, so this would also allow me to create my own content for students to increase time for hands-on activities. By donating to our project, you will be helping not only streamline STEM instruction, but you will also be helping us to create a more inquiry-based climate. Students will be able to use technology at home to learn flipped content. Students will also be able to see better organized math content during lecture time. Finally, students will be able to show what they know by using this platform to teach their peers when I bring the tablet to them when we work collaboratively.
