My children are very hands-on and particularly enjoy playing in the discover area as we as in art. We have young children with sensory needs and the discovery area peaks and maintains their interests while encouraging a least restrictive learning environment and experience. The splash mat and sensory table rug will allow for safe and clean play while the variety of sensory materials will provide my children with diverse learning experiences. The numbered ducks and shape turtles will also add another element of learning. "Art has the role in education of helping children become like themselves instead of more like everyone else."-Sydney Gurewitz Clemens Please help me to provide a classroom environment that will encourage my children to learn and flourish by providing them with materials that they can all utilize without fear of failure.
