These books would help me kick-start our classroom library. This year will be my first year teaching reading, so my resources are scarce. I want to create a library that students truly enjoy. My hope is to use these books for guided reading, as well as, for students to be able to read independently. The wide range of levels will allow students to find their "just right" book. Having books of high interest and at their level will help build their confidence as a reader. As said by one of my favorite authors, Dr. Seuss, "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you know, the more places you will go."
