Its no surprise that there is limited funding in schools. In fact, I purchased some of the items that I needed in my classroom this year. I am asking for several different items. In first grade, the students are learning the basic necessities to function in life. They need to learn about money, addition/subtraction and how to read. I feel that by providing them with a hands-on experience will enhance their learning. Recognizing money and its value is really hard for students to learn, but one of the most important goals in life. The Listen and Learn Phonics Activity Program will be an essential component in the classroom because of its ability to block background noise and assist me while I work with others. The locks and keys, as well as the see and solve manipulative kit, is hands-on. Which makes learning fun and when learning is fun, everyone wants to do it.
