I am a special education teacher that has a deep rooted belief aligned with Howard Gardener's theory of Multiple Intelligences. This empowers me to try a number of different strategies and modalities to best reach each individual learner. Often times specialized materials are needed to enrich the learning environment for my students. I teach all academic subjects and because of the nature of special education I often teach students of many different ages. My educational philosophy is that each child, no matter how they come to me, is able to learn, and will do so under my care, while also ensuring that they are kind and respectful to all.
