Many of my students struggle in school because they have difficulty following directions, regulating their emotions, and getting along with peers and adults. Having the resources to provide my students with explicit instruction in social and emotional skill development will equip them with the tools to succeed beyond the classroom. These child-friendly books will illustrate a variety of emotional intelligence skills that will support the social emotional lessons used. The characters in these books will continue to come to life throughout the year as we use the characters and their experiences as models.
