I have about 30 students on average in each of my five classes. I've noticed that my students seem to be getting more and more fidgety each year, needing to move more frequently, which is difficult in a small room with 30 seventh/eighth grade students. I've always preferred and enjoyed an active classroom, where students are collaborating, discussing, and problem-solving. I feel that fostering this type of learning will best prepare students to become leaders in our future.
