We are so lucky to have a Plan and Play portion built into our schedule this year! Our students get to choose an area that they want to play and then they make a plan for what they are going to do during their time there. This Plan and Play model helps students envision what they are going to do to enhance the structured play while also helping them develop their speaking and writing skills. I have requested materials such as play food, baby dolls, dress up clothes, and pretend play kits to help enhance my students Plan and Play experiences.
