My students are struggling readers who need high quality, engaging reading material to foster a love of reading and to develop into confident readers. They are so proud of themselves when they master a book and can read to teachers, parents, and friends. Our class needs well-written, engaging books to hold students' interest and help them enjoy reading. It would be great for them to have a variety of books to choose from instead of the limited selection that we now have. We will use the books for individual guided reading instruction as well as our home reading program.
