During our reading block our classroom has different centers that my students can choose from; adding an iPad center with educational games will really add to their learning. These iPads will give the students a new way to read books, work on their handwriting, use them for research, math and many more skills. There are different apps that the students will use to help them with retaining some of the skills that they learn in the classroom. For example: Imagine Learning, Starfall, Cool Math Games, ABC kids, and Epic just to name a few. There are also more and more lessons that I can buy to download them into a device. I have 24 students in my classroom so it will be impossible for all of the students to have access to this but with having 4 iPads I can easily do small group lessons as well. Students gravitate towards technology; unfortunately, my students are not exposed to it at home but with your help they can have exposure to technology in my classroom. I am hoping that my students will get that extra spark that they need to finish off the year on a high note.
