I've always learned best when I get to experience hands on learning, and I want to provide that for my students. Students are currently using a website to learn the basic coding concepts. Being able to apply these concepts will engage the students. Giving them that hands on experience with a grade level appropriate coding application will turn that learning into knowledge and problem solving skills. Students have loved using various websites to code and seeing their algorithms come to life on a computer screen. We are currently using a few robots in our 4th and 5th grade classes but would like more to engage all of our students. Students have loved the exposure to the robots and I would like to purchase more robots for our K-3 students to use as well. The robots and other coding tools to help our students receive hands on experience will be a great asset to our learning!
