My Kinders need to explore good books. Through these amazing children's literature books we will be able to practice retelling and problem-solving. I can teach phonemic awareness skills, print awareness, and word or phonic skills. They will be able to compare and contrast real and non-fiction text. They will be pulled into fun and exciting lessons that will spark their interest in learning through books and print. We have all experienced the love of a good book. Now I can bring that love to my students. The books I have chosen are age appropriate. They will help me teach the Common Core standards in a developmental, meaningful, yet fun way.
