Multi-sensory classroom environments improve the development of thought, intelligence, and social skills. This project will provide my students, who have developmental delays and other challenging conditions, the opportunity for learning using a variety of materials. These materials will light their learning up! The requested materials will serve my students in a multitude of beneficial ways. They will increase their attention and focus, language and vocabulary, as well as their enjoyment for learning through directed play stations! With these materials, my students' imagination and critical thinking will be "Lit Up". The light table and accessories will help them to learn and build their color identification skills as well as their fine motor coordination.
