The funding of this project will provide robotic support for our weekly computer science class. Our school is pioneering the importance of computer science exposure at the elementary level, giving students the opportunity to practice and learning computer science language weekly. The Sphero and Dash/Dot will provide a hands on opportunity for students to authentically apply the computer science they have learned so far. Students will be able to use Sphero, as well as Dot and Dash to bring the learning of a new language to life. It will provide a foundational structure and real world application to the computer science they have been learning.
