Unfortunately, school funding resources will not cover the cost of the supplies that we desperately need, and teachers are asked to cover the remaining fees associated with teaching in a low-income community. The vast majority of students at Akins are economically disadvantaged (62%) according to federal law. That is why we have to reach out to our community for support. We need you and we want to partner with you. Amplify your impact in the community by working with us!
