My students are in great need of new graphing calculators. We have had TI-82's since I first started teaching here, and each year I find myself replacing the batteries nonstop, while working around each and every glitch. Some of them have lines running through the screen, but it's all we have to work with and the district does not currently have the funds to buy new ones. I'm afraid that if I don't try to do something now my students will be attempting Trigonometry and Algebra 2 without a calculator, putting them at a huge disadvantage. My students deserve the same opportunities, resources, and technology as those in every other district, and having these TI-84 Plus Graphing calculators in the classroom would make that possible. Thank you!
