Students will be able to do literature circles. My students have never done these before! I think literature circles make reading more fun of an activity. The students get to be more in charge and the teacher just facilitated when needed. They will live the jobs: Illustrator Discussion Director Connector Questioner Students will get to take turns in each role each day or chapter they read. They will have ownership in their reading. I read Mr. Henshaw in school, and it was so great. Bud Not Buddy would be wonderful and is a great book to expose them to multiculturalism.
