Students learn in a variety of ways. Visual aids, like full color maps, help those students that need more than a verbal description. This set of 16 maps are in full color and visible from all areas of the classroom. They provide detail to American history from exploration to current events. I plan to use these maps in combination with lecture and the use of power points and videos. Seeing the landscape of the United States change throughout time is beneficial for visual learners that struggle with oral presentations only. My plan is to use these maps from day one!
