I have created this project to help my students with their social-emotional needs and learning about diversity. They will be learning self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision making, social awareness and relationship skills. Integrating these skills improves student's attitudes and engagement. It's so important to introduce these skills and nurture social and emotional development at an early age! The hands-on manipulatives, organizers and visual aids are essential in the learning process especially for kindergarteners. These materials are concrete objects that will allow students to explore an idea in an active, hands-on approach.

About my class
