Flexible seating allows students to become responsible learners by choosing seating that fits their learning needs. Some students need seating that allows them the ability to move while completing daily tasks. Learning stools allow students that movement while helping them maintain focus on their work. Research shows that students who are able to learn in a kinesthetic environment are more engaged in their learning. Stability cushions are another example of flexible seating that allows students to move while maintaining focus on their tasks. Not only are they great for focus but they also help students to build their core strength. These materials will allow my students to take responsibility for their learning. Given the choice of seating will help them become aware of how they learn the best.
