I was given 27 Chromebooks by my school district which is a true blessing. These Chromebooks will allow my students to conduct research through our school district library. In addition, they will be able to type assignments and upload them to our virtual classroom. Also, they will be able to improve their computer skills which will make them much more prepared for the 21st century workforce. I am focusing on college and career readiness and these Chromebooks and charging cart will help us accomplish that goal. I was not given a charging cart which will allow them to charge and be ready every morning for my students. It will also allow them to be be stored safely and securely. The charging cart is a critical piece to our classroom success. The students will be in charge of taking care of the cart and computers which will help them learn responsibility and personal accountability.
