I would like to provide my "digital native" students with a resource that will keep them interested and actively engaged. The math curriculum that we are required to teach is extremely dense and often I find that I "lose" my students somewhere in the middle of the lesson. This is because they are either bored or overwhelmed with the material. My students are digital natives and are used to having technology at their fingertips. Having an interactive whiteboard will spark their interest in what they are learning. It will get them up and moving during instruction as they come up to the board and use the special tools. They will enjoy watching their peers and teacher use the technology for whole group and small group instruction.
