This range of literature will help me create a well balanced classroom library that will make sure each student has the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of forms of literature that will impact the way they view reading. I will be labeling each book and making my students responsible for reviewing each book being read and create a relevant connections to the different forms of figurative language that they are currently learning. My students will be able to record their learning and comprehension process in their readers journals daily this will make them responsible for their own learning and will help them monitor their own goals throughout the school year.
