Imagine a school where any learner from any background can explore STEM through a project-based, multidisciplinary curriculum. To top it off, imagine your school is not in a traditional school building, but built right into a science museum! My students attend a year-round public school located in the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, Ohio. We are an open-enrollment school, with a student population on 100% free lunch. Although our setting is unique, working in an underfunded district still puts added pressure on our teachers to keep learning experiences memorable and valuable with limited resources.
