These specific phones are able to support my students who are auditory learners and students who have visual processing disorders. Specifically, I have one student who is currently reading at a kindergarten level independently, and I have approximately ten students reading at a second grade level based on running record fluency assessments. This year, I am doing guided reading for all students to support fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary skills. My students would benefit tremendously when learning new vocabulary words and sound patterns by hearing how these words sound when reading aloud to themselves and the teacher. I hope you will consider donating to my class project, as I believe fourth grade students will make fluency gains by having this resource available when reading in a guided reading group. Thank you for your donation!
