Giving the third graders at my school access to daily routines that outline strategies for kids to understand numbers will help them be the best problem solvers they can be. I know these math kits provide effective instruction because other teachers in our district have implemented them daily and seen great gains in scores and confidence with their kids. I cannot wait to see what third graders at our school will do given this extra practice with understanding numbers! Many kids naturally love math, but some kids need extra practice with putting together and taking apart numbers in order to gain the confidence necessary to love math. This resource only takes 5 minutes of the lesson's time a day and will accomplish so much. Giving kids access to math problems with higher numbers impacts their entire mathematical journey, life, and career.
