Flexible seating provides a comfortable environment that promotes learning for students. A classroom that can give students a relaxed setting reduces stress and helps them stay focused on their tasks and assignments. The physical element of yoga balls, wobble stools and rectangle tables, that can be raised or lowered, give the students a sense of movement which gives them an active setting to increase brain activity and stimulation. Learning spaces that implement flexible seating are more student-centered. This helps the students engage, not only in their surroundings, but also in the learning material. We want our students to put their energy and creativity back into the classroom. This will help them retain more information and engage in new things.
