I will be teaching Math and Science to a wonderful group of 2nd graders. As a first year teacher that wants to implement flexible seating, I have a lot of initial need for classroom items. I know I am asking for a lot, but I also know that my students deserve a lot. My students need options within the classroom to help them focus, free up space for movement and flexibility, and to simplify our learning space. I want my classroom to represent my students needs by being a student centered classroom. I feel that the best way to accomplish this goal is to integrate flexible seating in my classroom.
