My school is 1:1 with technology, meaning that each student has a Chrome Book to use in the classroom. I try to incorporate these devices into my instruction as much as possible by assigning leveled e-books, educational videos, online student adapted programs, etc. Most of these online tools require students to listen to directions, as well as follow along with the content that is being presented. With a full classroom, it is unrealistic to have the volume of the devices on without any type of major distractions, so therefore, headphones would be beneficial to all. Having individual sets of headphones will ensure that students can successfully hear and listen to the sound on their devices, which will help them to engage and interact with the content. I would like to provide students with these headphones so that the noise level in the classroom is manageable, and that students are able to fully focus and concentrate on what they are specifically working on.
