My students are in need of wobble chairs for the speech and language support classrooms. There is a lot evidence supporting the great impact moving has on children and learning. These wobble chairs will help my students become more engaged during their speech and language support sessions.
Wobble chairs are new in the area of active seating but are a great way to help the students move, burn off excess energy and get the stimulus their muscles are looking for, making them more attentive in class!!
These chairs will not only help my students become more engaged but they will also decrease the distraction normal classroom chairs have in my classrooms!! Speech and language rooms are typically very small and normal classroom chairs often get in the way of moving around comfortably. Students also hang off them, sit on their feet and kneel on them, making it unsafe at times. These wobble chairs will help my speech and language students tremendously!! These chairs will be used in three speech and language support classrooms.
